Now Body & Mind Foundation makes it even easier for you to become a successful entrepreneur by offering various modules from which to choose/combine regarding the level at which you wish to enter the lucrative steelwork industry if you do not wish to or cannot afford to take the whole Statements in Steel package as described in the main section of this website.
Module 1:
Buy the complete range of Statements in Steel hand steel shaping equipment – the core unit (incorporating the double reduction gearbox and ring roller); the scrolling attachment; the twisting and basket making attachment; and the independent free-standing bender (including a variety of dies), for only R74 000 (VAT not applicable).
NB: This is less that what our “competition” charges for equipment that we regard as “hobby toys”, and which get delivered to you on a “God speed and good luck” basis, without any training or even demonstration being given in their use after you have bought.
The buying price also includes:
- A 2 hour demonstration and training in Pretoria for two people in the operation of the equipment.
- A DVD for ongoing reference regarding operating the equipment .
- A CD with some design ideas and techniques, and portfolio photographs of projects built using Statements in Steel equipment.
- Material used during the demonstration/training.
- A one-year guarantee on the equipment, subject to it not being used on material exceeding specifications.
NB: Buying the Statements in Steel range of equipment does not entitle you to use the name Statements in Steel for your business; and does not give you exclusivity in any geographical area.
For contractual and ethical reasons, we shall not sell the equipment in an area where there already is a Statements in Steel business established, i.e. Pietermaritzburg, Bethlehem, Centurion West, Pretoria Moot, Langebaan, Port Elizabeth, or South Coast.
Module 2:
Undergo 4 days’ intensive general business training (fulldat & some evening sessions) in Marketing, Selling, General Business Practice, Entrepreneurship, and Principles of Quoting in Pretoria, offered by one of the leading entrepreneurship trainers in South Africa, Marnus Roothman – Abraham Foundation (USA) trained in Mastermind Marketing, and described by Succeed Magazine as one of the six experts on Entrepreneurship in South Africa (August 2007 issue) NB: Training is given to two people. The training fee includes:
- Lunch for 2 people on all training days and dinner when evening training sessions are conducted
- A comprehensive workbook for future reference
- A framed certificate indicating that you have successfully completed the training
- 2 CD set: How to start your own business with no money & no risk and How to grow your business with no money & no risk. (by Robin J Elliot, founder and president of the Dollarmakers International Joint Venture Club)
- 3 CD set (Afrikaans only): Bemarkingstrategie-ontwikkeling (6 x 30 min. radio interviews with Marnus Roothman).
- E-mail and telephone support for one month after completion of training
The training fee does not include:
Accommodation, breakfast, and dinner (on evenings when no training sessions are conducted); and traveling to and from Pretoria.
Module 1 and Module 2 combined:
Module 2 can be booked in conjunction with buying Module 1 (can also be added at any stage after buying the Statements in Steel equipment).
If Module 2 is booked in conjunction with buying Module 1, the general business training is geared specifically to be applied to the Statements in Steel equipment in business.
The combination of Module 1 and Module 2 does not entitle you to use the name Statements in Steel for your business; and does not give you exclusivity in any geographical area.
We also supply you with a comprehensive list of additional equipment needed to run a professional steelwork business, and suggest that you source what you need from local suppliers to simplify maintenance as well as possible repairs while still under guarantee.

This comprises the full Statements in Steel package as described in the main section of this website, including all the Statements in Steel equipment, training (including 1.5 additional days training in basic welding skills – if required – and workshop management), 3 months’ support, and additional products as set out comprehensively in the main section of this website.
NB: The full package entitles you to use the name Statements in Steel for your business, and gives you exclusivity in the area contractually agreed upon between you and Body & Mind Foundation.
